MT Unplugged was a collaborative musical set in RWCMD’s Carid studio. This production featured a variety of musical theatre songs which followed the story of customers in a cafe.

MT Unplugged was a small scale musical theatre performance put on in the RWCMD’s Carid studio. MT unplugged followed the story of various peoples lives in the cafe. This was performed by RWCMD Masters students.

MT Unplugged is set in a rustic small family owned cafe in NYC, the design is mostly wooden furnished with various trinkets and plant life around. A lot of this set had to be interactive so each element had to be useable in some way. The patterned fabric was inspired by William Morris as the message of anti-consumerism was extremely important to this play and the director
